Their desire to make a positive contribution to the environment has united Leo and Robert from the very beginning, despite or precisely because of their different professional backgrounds.
Leopold Spenner (r.) carries cement and concrete in his heart. The family business Spenner has been producing the building material for almost 100 years. In his childhood, he spent much of his free time in his parents' cement plant. He soon realized that decarbonization would be the greatest challenge for his family's company and indeed the entire industry.
Dr. Robert Meyer (l.) has a PhD in neuroinformatics and then built the machine learning team at Flixbus. He brings technical know-how in the field of data science and AI, and has significantly developed predictive quality control for cement and concrete plants.
